Rainier Development Company named master developer on entertainment district project

The Rainier Development Company announced Wednesday it had executed a master development agreement with the University of Oklahoma Foundation for the Rock Creek Entertainment District.
Rainier will lead planning, design, coordination and development of the entertainment district, according to a press release from Rainier. The organization will work in “close collaboration” with Cleveland County, the city of Norman, OU, community stakeholders and over development partners, per the release.
Rainier is a Dallas-based national mixed-use development firm that specializes in retail, residential and entertainment-driven districts. Its portfolio includes University Town Center in Norman’s University North Park, where Target, T.J. Maxx, Crest and other retailers are located.
